So someone wrote:
“Wherever & whenever we claim equality btw man & his wife there would always be problem. I agree they are one but not equal”
My question is what is oneness? What is equality?
If I say I am one with someone, does that not make me equal to the person? Does it make the other person superior just ‘cos he is the man?
“What is equality?!”
My take is…
Submission does not make a woman less equal
Being a woman does not make us less human
Being a woman does not make us less intelligent
Stop saying things like ” when men are talking you don’t talk just ‘cos I am a woman
Stop saying things like ” what do you know, you are just a woman”
Stop saying things like it is a Man’s world… wrong wrong wrong!
The bible says:
“And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:27-28
If God himself has said He created us both male and female in His own image who are you Mortal man to say you are more superior than a woman?
Submission in marriage is not the same as inequality
Submission is that I have decided to hand over my rights to make decisions to a man, this is meekness not weakness
Submission does not mean I cannot make contributions in a conversation, it means I will allow your decision be the final as long as it does not contradict God’s expectation of me
Submission does not give you the right to order me around, it means you accord me the same respect I have accorded you by submitting to you

The word “submission” has become synonymous with weakness and has been seen by many to be a regressive and dangerous doctrine to hold women back and perpetuate chauvinistic behaviors.
God never intended women to be less equal, apparently, there is nothing like “inequality” with God when it comes to marriage
Lets us stop preaching slave/ master relationship and terming it Marriage and submission
The perfect example of Marriage is Jesus Himself. He was selfless, He was loving to the church and He gave Himself willingly.
So on this note, men love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself, wives submit unto your own husbands as you do to the Lord.
