The Power of knowing Your Weakness(es)

One of the first steps to move on after a failure, a loss, a mistake, or a life full of mistakes is to acknowledge of our weakness(es).

Thomas Kempis once said that, and he was right. Sometimes this is the hardest thing for people to do.

Yet self-truth and truth with others about where you have fallen short almost ensures that you will go a long way.

Everyone can see you anyway, why not admit what everyone is seeing?

This makes me remember a story about a man in a ditch and some many people were trying to help him get out of the mess, and the only thing he could think of is, “does anyone out there know that I stink?!”

You cannot let go of anything if you cannot notice that you are holding it. Admit your ‘weaknesses’ and watch them morph into your greatest strength
