Lessons from the “Palace of Defeat”

Ever wondered why you were told that life is not a bed of roses? Yes it’s not.

If any one tells you that you can be a truly successful person in any endeavour in life without ‘temporary’ ( mark my word temporary ) defeat/s then they don’t know what success is, or they might have never ventured in to the road of success, or never truly learnt what ( or from ) success and failure ( temporary defeat) is.

Success and failure are strange bed fellows.

Thomas Edison tried about a thousand times before discovering the prototype of the incandescent bulb.

Two important lessons “Defeat” would teach anyone who truly desire to learn from her is:

🔥at some point in our lives we would be overtaken by defeat/s ( and its our choice to make it temporary or permanent), and

🔥the other is that in every form of adversity or defeat that befalls an individual there is always a seed of greatness,an opportunity to turn the situation around to our benefit; it is only for us to search within ( not without) to discovery this.

Hence, failure ( adversity) is a very terrible thing to waste : if we choose ( knowingly or unknowingly) not to learn from it.

Search any where in this world (past or present), in your life or someone else’s life, you would find this undoubtedly true and a fact.
