You truly discover yourself when you know and live by this, “that the more you forget about yourself- by giving yourself to a cause to ‘truly’ serve or another person to love- the more human you are, and hence the more you are able to actualise yourself”, ( this is self-transcendence of human existence).

Hence self-actualisation itself is not an attainable aim at all, for the simple reason that the more one would strive for it, the more he would miss it!
Therefore, self actualisation is possible only as a side effect of self-transcendence.
